So in the interest of full disclosure I would like to state that I love the creator of the You Look Hungry line Pam Spivey. She is one of the wittiest (sp) people I have ever met in my life. I will also state categorically that we have decided should we ever jump the crazy shark we will without further notice be known as Big Edie and Little Edie. Soooo with that declaration out of the way I am so very much in love with Pam's latest offerings of hand embroidered Tea Towels. I posted a collage of a few above however there are so many more to choose from. Below are Pam's answers to my interview questions unedited:

Why did you name your business You Look Hungry?

I considered how I would answer the phone. "You look hungry" made me giggle.

What do you enjoy about your creative process?

The idea that I am only limited by my imagination.

What is your favorite time of day and why?

About 4 in the afternoon...there's still time for just about anything.

If you could land anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why?

Ideally, heaven. Tomorrow will be the one year anniversary of the death of my baby brother and I miss him without relief. Daddy too.
Realistically, either any rain forest to see vibrant greens, multi-colored birds and orchids growing wild in trees. Or Paris because I am missing romance.
I wasn't allowed three places, was I??!!

If you could have anyone over for dinner (famous or non-famous) who would you invite and what would you serve?

Craig Ferguson. He makes me laugh just by being in front of me. I would make a meal from local low country ingredients. Hampton Plantation Shrimp Pilau with fresh shrimp and Carolina Gold rice, roasted brussels sprouts, butter beans, tomato pie, carrot salad... with Hagen Das rum raisin ice cream for dessert.

A bagel bar with Bloody Marys for breakfast! (wink wink)

If you leave my house hungry, it's your own damn fault.

Where do you find inspiration?

The English language. I love everything about words. Writing them, reading them, making them up, associating them, manipulating them...
If I have some money, I buy a book. If there is any left over, I buy food.
