3 Piece Food Recipes: Naan Pizza

One of the best things my family and I have discovered is making Naan Pizzas. You can make a batch to keep in the freezer and put it in the oven to eat when ready, eat it right away from the oven, or use a pizza oven over a grill. The Naan bread is thin enough for a crust and is the perfect size for a personal pizza. So everyone gets their pizza.

 

The toppings, cheese, and sauces can vary. I will put two different recipes to make one pizza each.

 

Naan Pizza Recipe

Italian Sausage Marinara Pizza

  • Two Italian Sausage Links
  • A quarter Jar of Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic
  • Two sides of Bell Peppers
  • Half of small yellow onion
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • powder basil
  • Jumble of Fresh Basil
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese  
  • 1 Piece of Naan Bread
  1. Take Naan out and place it on a plate
  2. Brown and smash up the sausage with the garlic, bell peppers, onions, and seasonings
  3. Once browned, add in the Pasta Sauce; cook until simmering
  4. Set the sauce aside and let cool some, once cool add the sauce to naan bread
  5. Add Fresh Basil on top of the sauce, then spread shredded mozzarella cheese until covered
  6. Then it is ready to put in the freezer, oven, or pizza oven

 

Pepperoni Oil Pizza

  • 15 slices of Pepperoni
  • 6 Cloves of Garlic
  • Handful of Spinach
  • 2 Table Spoons of Butter
  • 3 Table Spoons of Olive Oil
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 Piece of Naan Bread
  1. Take Naan out and place it on a plate
  2. Cut Garlic Cloves until small
  3. Warm-up butter until melted 
  4. Add Garlic, Butter, Olive Oil, and seasonings in a bowl
  5. Use a basting brush to spread the mixture over the Naan Bread
  6. Add five pieces of pepperoni to the Naan Bread
  7. Then add a layer of Spinach 
  8. Then add a layer of another five pieces of pepperoni
  9. Then add a layer of Mozzarella cheese spread to cover 
  10. Then add a last layer of 5 pieces of pepperoni
  11. Now it is ready for the freezer, oven, or pizza oven

 

The best part of this recipe is mixing different toppings and sauces to your liking. To put the pizza in the freezer, I wrap them individually with aluminum foil and put them in a zip-loc bag. That way, I can take them out to put in the oven without unwrapping them. The other significant part is the naan bread comes in packs of 2 or 4, so if you have extra sauce and toppings, you can always make more and save it for later.
